Michele in Taiwan (The last part)

Well, after our whirlwind trip of Taiwan, it was time for us to head back home and relax for a day before she left.
On the six hour train ride from Taidong to Tainan Michele made a little friend who did not speak a drop of English. However, the kid wasn't even a little bit shy and even called Michele A-yi (aunt). Thankfully, Michele spent the whole six hours entertaining him leaving me to rest for a bit.

When we got back home, the ladies from 'Beautiful and Breakfast' invited us to eat hot pot. I was really glad they were taking us for hot pot meal as firstly, Michele would be eating something typically Chinese, and secondly, the hot pot restaurant is a really expensive one.
I was happy with my beef hot pot, but because Michele does not eat red meat, she chose the fish hot pot. And what a lot of fish she had! One of the highlights of the meal was when Michele asked me:
'What's this?' pointing to some squishy thing.
So I asked my friends in Chinese, to which they replied in Chinese 'Fish skin'
So to Michele I said 'It's a type of squid thing'
I had to look away when she began eating the skin!
