Junior

This is my latest acquisition in Taiwan, my 125cc scooter called Junior. I have never driven before and never understood the fuss drivers make about driving, but now that I have a scooter, I can't imagine life without it. It makes life so much easier, no hanging around for buses or shelling out money for taxis; and as petrol is so cheap here, I am constantly using it.
It took me a couple of goes to get the hang of it (nearly falling off the back when I turned the throttle too hard the first time), but learning how to drive was the easy part. Trying to survive Taiwanese road rules (or the lack of) is the tricky part. Dodging scooters that are driving on the wrong side of the road, looking out for people/cars/scooters crossing red lights when I have green, drivers cutting in front of me as they don't indicate and slow car drivers who can't make up their minds where exactly on the road they want to drive are just a few of the things that I have to deal with. Thankfully, I am now getting used to seeing 360.
